About Me
My name is Bill Guinn. I began playing the guitar at 14 and grew up working with a lot of local musicians in various bands and musical events. I owned a guitar store in Tulsa OK selling new and used guitars, basses, banjos mandolins and other gear. We performed lots of guitar setups and repairs for our customers. We made it a point to setup every guitar we owned before hanging them to sell. I’ve seen a lot of bad playing guitars and other stringed instruments.
I am now in Fort Worth, Texas with my new home based business “Old Dog Guitar Setups and Repair”. I follow proven methodic routines on Every guitar that makes it to my work bench to ensure that all issues are covered and corrected. Every effort is made to make the service the best it can be. I will always communicate my findings and will discuss everything with my customer.
All work is guaranteed. Generally I have a 2-3 day turnaround on most setups.
